ISA and Inspections
Annan School is a member of the Independent Schools Association. Membership of the ISA means that the school can display the mark of quality assurance in independent education.
All ISA schools encourage pupils to make the most of their talents, building confidence through academic achievement and offering a wide range of extra-curricula opportunities. The ISA has over 500 members and offers support and advice to headteachers as well as organising inter-school events on a regional and national level. Headteachers can become members of the ISA only if their schools meet the highest standards.
Annan School is inspected every three years by The Independent Schools Inspectorate. ISI inspections report to the Department for Education on the extent to which the statutory Independent School Standards are met.
Our most recent inspection was in December 2023. Click here to download the report.
