We are proud to tell you about a brand new handbook to Froebel which was published this week by Bloomsbury. The book was launched on Friday and the teachers watched some of the book launch in their lunch break. It is co-edited by a very good friend of the school, Tina Bruce.

We are really excited that Alastair (Willow Class Teacher and Curriculum Lead) has a chapter in the book all about the Froebelian curriculum at Annan which has an introduction written by Mark. The book is the biggest handbooks of its kind and we are so pleased that we were asked to write about topic work at Annan in one of its key sections.

“This book showcases the cutting-edge work undertaken around the world on this pioneer of early childhood education, covering his work and legacy, and showing the many ways in which Froebel’s work has been applied and extended.”
